“As I go through all kinds of feelings and experiences in my journey through life — delight, surprise, chagrin, dismay — I hold this question as a guiding light:

“What do I really need right now to be happy?”

What I come to over and over again is that only qualities as vast and deep as love, connection and kindness will really make me happy in any sort of enduring way.”

Flowers have their own beauty, similar to everyone of us. Try to look for good sides of people we meet.

Older Norman from a movie “A River Runs Through it”: My father was very sure about certain matters pertaining to the universe. To him, all good things – trout as well as eternal salvation – came by grace; and grace comes by art; and art does not come easy.

A nice story

Last week, my partner and I decided to leave a car at home, and went to downtown to meet friends by public transport. We walked out from the soi and found one taxi.

We: Are you going to BTS Mor Chit?

Driver: Come on in.

He then drove us out of the soi and stopped at the main road.

Driver: I could not go

We: Why did you pick us up?

Driver: You don’t need to walk far. Do not worry, this is free of charge as I have to drive out anyway.

We: Thank you so much. ^ ____________ ^

Tuk Tuk

Motor tricycle, or so-called Tuk Tuk, was once my father’s vehicle driving around the town for his own living. Dad told his story that he was driving Tuk Tuk when he was around 19 until he finished the bachelor degree.

“I need this money to pay for living, especially my university fees,” dad said.

My father loves to tell this story time after time, repeatedly saying: “I am so happy to sit and drive. It gives me a high hope that one day I will finish the university and can go on with what I dream to be.”

“And if I can choose, I would rather go back and drive it one more time. Hope keeps me alive.”

The nature of the wind comes and goes, so do our happiness and sorrow! Hold on your breath when sorrow hits right to your heart as for sure, a wave of happiness is about to start rolling.

Reflection

We have seen a large number of reflection without notice, the nature is one example creating so many for us to appreciate and understand. Yet, it remains that many are left unseen or unrecognizable like the one in your own heart.

Have you checked out your mirror lately?
